چکیده

Objectives: This study sought to determine associations between mFI-5 score and 30-day adverse outcomes after arthroscopic meniscectomy. Methods: The National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP) database was queried identify all patients who underwent meniscectomy using Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes 29880 29881. Patients were included 2005 2009. if they 50 years old or older. calculated for each patient variables present in NSQIP. Multivariate logistic regression models utilized the scores rates of overall complications, readmissions, reoperations, mortality. Results: 41,102 included. 21,102 with an 0, 15,438 a 1, 4,641 2, 265 3 higher (3+). 388 experienced complication, 275 readmission, 4,675 reoperation, 9 mortality within 30-days surgery. Regression revealed that 3+ associated increased risk complications (OR: 3.9; CI: 2.0-7.8; p<0.001). An 1 2 reoperation 1.2; 1.1-1.3; p<0.001) CI 2.1; 1.6-2.8; p<0.001), 2.3; 1.6-3.4), 14.7; 8.2-26.1; predictive readmission. No Conclusions: meniscectomy, especially readmissions. Further research is warranted into development stratification tools as well on impact comorbidities subsequent reoperations should be counseled events presented by medical optimized regards chronic conditions.
